Vision:

We believe well organised and competitive soccer games can attract soccer lovers to attend soccer training regularly. Friendships and strong bonding can then be built among players within the same team. This provides a solid foundation for small group or individual evangelism.

Aim:

To provide a competitive and fair soccer competition for Chinese Christian soccer teams

2006 is a remarkable year for soccer in Australia as the Socceroos get into the final 32 of the World Cup 2006. It is foreseeable that the World Cup 2006 will attract a lot of media coverage and will be an everyday topic among people in Australia.

Such an invaluable opportunity to attract not-yet-Christians to know us is too costly to be missed!

We, therefore, start this outdoor soccer competition to serve 3 purposes:

1. To Christians: To promote the vision of spreading Good News using soccer as a platform;
2. To not-yet-Christians: To let them know Christian’s activities can be very interesting
3. To participating teams: To act as a common goal for teams to excel
